Flybe started life as Jersey European Airways in 1979 and is now Europe's largest regional airline. It's USP since repositioning as a full service, low fare airline in 2002 is providing affordable, regional and globally connectivity from primary local airports.
Flying more UK domestic flights than any other airline and with over half of its passengers travelling for business purposes, Flybe's high frequency services are regarded as a necessity, not a luxury to the commuters it serves. It operates 194 routes flying over 450 flights a day serving 10 countries from 37 UK and European airports. Its 75-strong fleet comprises 52 Bombardier Q400 turboprops, 11 E-jet aircraft all featuring 2x2 leather seating and 3 ATR 72 aircraft operating on a "white label" flying for SAS.
Flybe promotes air travel being faster than road or rail and as an environmentally responsible method of travel that has a key role to play in contributing towards the growth of regional economies. It launched the aviation industry's first ever eco labelling scheme in 2007; and has its own globally recognised Training Academy in Exeter that was opened in 2011.
The airline was listed on the London Stock Exchange in December 2010; has ten codeshare agreements with leading flagship carriers including the recently announced Virgin Atlantic, and three franchise partners, Loganair, Blue Islands and Stobart Air. Due to an exciting period of growth, we are seeking First Officers to join Flybe in Germany, operating the world's largest fleet of state-of-the-art Q400 aircraft and continue this expansion in a friendly and rewarding environment
