Position:

You will provide immediate and long-term strategic planning at stations to meet aircraft maintenance needs; provide aircraft maintenance in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner that meets air regulatory conditions with the objective to ensure flight safety and legal fitness of operations.

Key Responsibilities & Ideal candidate’s profile:

  • Monitor quantity and quality of preventative and corrective maintenance performed on company aircraft, lead team of technicians to ensure repairs are made to the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in order to maintain the best interest of flying safety and system operational needs.
  • Select, train, develop, motivate and monitor the performance of subordinate staff.
  • Prepare an annual budget which includes operational expense budgeting and capital budgeting process, control, and monitor, and report results on a routine basis in order to achieve budgets and manage expense effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with the appropriate company, manufactures, and FAR requirements on the performance of maintenance and modifications functions in order to maintain legal fitness.
  • Provide vendor management on technical, operational and economic performance, approve vendor’s invoice and negotiate as appropriate.
  • Perform aircraft parts inventory management, adjust inventory allocation as required in order to maintain the stock in a state capable of meeting operational needs. 
  • Assure all employees assigned observe all safety rules and maintain the work area in a safe and orderly manner to ensure compliance with all applicable safety policies, regulations and standards and minimize company and employees’ exposure to risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum ten (10) years working experience in the Aviation Maintenance Industry.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in management level.
  • Current Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
  • Valid HK Driving License 1 and 2.
  • Strong management, communications and planning skills.
  • Strong aircraft management, motivational leadership of personnel, and regulatory knowledge in the area of operations.
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
