Role: F35 & Ops Senior Systems Engineer

Rate: £42.00 per hour LTD

Location: Samlesbury, Lancashire

Duration: 6 months

One of our clients is looking for a F35 & Ops Senior Systems Engineer to join them on a 6 month basis in the Lancashire area. The role is to validate closure evidence for the completion of the System Design & Development phase of the F-35 project and provide support.

We are looking for someone who will manage the analysis of the test data, evaluate system performance and investigate issues that may arise from in-service operation. The role will be assessing Fuel Systems design performance and verification and validation evidence from Fuel System simulation. The generation of qualification evidence to support flight certification is key to these roles.

You will support one of the other teams in implementing capabilities into the F35 Autonomic Logistics & Information Systems (ALIS). This will include development of a desktop prototype using MATLAB, designing solutions for integration into ALIS, collaboration with various teams.

Key Skills:

  • Background in aircraft systems, ideally Fuel
  • Proven technical ability in the application of developing the maturity of systems and resolving system problems
  • Knowledge of design, development and support of engineering products
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL
  • Be able to effectively research system design and data and demonstrate creative problem solving
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Desirable:
  • Background in Systems Test and/or Modelling Simulation
  • Equipment-level qualification and Supplier Management
  • Knowledge of design integration of Crew/Life Support systems with MathWorks tools

ADDITIONAL

Due to the sensitive nature of the product all applicants must have worked within the Defence/Military industry within the last 12 months or be capable of obtaining Security clearance (SC level minimum)
