Engineering Team & Fleet Manager

Overview

  • Secure airworthy, safe and economic operation of assigned aircraft type or engines by cross functional control, support, and follow up of all required processes and services internally and externally with authorities, OEM's, MRO's, and other suppliers. The Engineering Team & Fleet Manager will act on behalf of the Head of Engineering to ensure that strategic and tactical targets as well as financial targets are met by adequate and transparent communication required to provide visibility, predictability and timely deliveries.
  • Functional management of designated Engineering team within one of the following areas to secure team competence, and predictable, quality assured and cost effective deliveries: Powerplant; Systems & Structures; Payload & Avionics; Maintenance Programs, Reliability & Data.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within aviation industry, whereof minimum 2 years in an appropriate management position.
  • Practical experience of managing large contracts with suppliers and internally, with associated budget processes and cost saving programs.
  • Practical experience of business transformations and change management.
  • Practical experience of working with AMOS maintenance management system.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part M and Ops regulations.
  • Knowledge of safety management and quality systems.
  • The operations management procedures (OMS) and continuing airworthiness management exposition (CAME).
  • Creative and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to lead and inspire people to deliver high quality of work.
