Job Title: Engine Material Sales Executive

Location: West Sussex

Client:

Our client is a leading global supplier of commercial aircraft components. They deal with the sale, exchange lease and repair of rotables. They now require an Engine Material Sales Executive to work for their head office in West Sussex.

Overview:

Managing the Sales and Exchange of Commercial Aircraft Spares to a defined Customer base via Adhoc support.

Responsibilities:

Management of Quotation of Customers Request for Quotes

  • Raise quotations
  • Raising sales orders, reserving stock, creating shipping, material certs
  • Liaising with logistic teams to arrange dispatch/shipping
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Updating quantum with market trends
  • Quantum Interrogation
  • Market Research
  • Alternate PN
  • Calculation of mark-ups – Manager approval 


Customer Order Management

  • Documentation preparation
  • Achieve KPI and agreed targets
  • Brokered sales
  • Procurement Procedures – Manager approval
  • Vendor Quality Approval Process
  • Quantum Processing
  • Interface with other departments to facilitate on time delivery
  • Credit Note and Query Invoice follow up – Manager approval

Customer Service and Interface

  • Negotiation
  • Customer relationship building.
  • To follow up previous quotations
  • Day to day Communication & Interface with Customers / Vendors
  • Customer visits – Manager Approval
  • Exceeding Customer Expectation and Company standards

Person Specification

  • Confident telephone manner
  • Excellent customer services experience
  • Aviation background
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to close and agree sales
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Good team player
  • IT skills (Excel, Outlook)
  • Quantum knowledge
