Morson has an exciting opportunity for Engine Inspectors to join the team of a Major Aerospace Company in Bristol. These are initial 12 month contracts.

Job Details:

To work as part of an integrated team delivering Production, Development or Repair aerospace engine and module delivery programmes in line with customer requirements.

Key Requirements:

The key requirements of the role include: -

  • Time served apprentice or equivalent with appropriate aero-engine inspection skills
  • Working knowledge of aerospace Engine strip and build procedures
  • Qualified to NVQ level 3, City & Guilds parts 1 & 2 or equivalent
  • Working experience of measurement tools and techniques
  • Experience of conditioning/sentencing aerospace parts and assemblies
  • Computer literate
  • Key Characteristics Required:
  • Proactive
  • Proven track record of delivering to tight timescales
  • Team player with the energy and drive to succeed
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Customer, Quality and Delivery focused
  • Additional supplementary Skills
  • Engine intrascoping
  • Experienced in the interpretation of repair limits
  • CMM experience
  • Risk assessment and COSHH trained
  • LITS trained
  • Able to train others

Must be able to work shifts.
