Oaklands Global Executive Search, is looking to recruit an EMEA Sales Director on behalf of our expanding Aircraft Manufacturing Client. This very exciting opportunity requires an experienced and driven sales professional and will require regular travel across the EMEA.  

This rare opportunity is a full-time permanent position to be based in the London area.

The Role:

 

  • To conduct sales and marketing activity of aircraft in the EMEA region to be specified by the employer in accordance with the manner as required from time to time, which include (but not limited to) the following:  
  • Seek business opportunities with customers including the airlines, lessors and financial institutions in EMEA region for aircraft sales on behalf of the company;  
  • Manage the sales process, liaising with staff in the relevant departments, and ultimately achieve sales objectives set forth by the company;  
  • Act as representative of the employer on various events, such as air shows, industrial conferences and seminars;

 

  • Understand the company’s policy of business and learn the process / procedure of the aircraft sales campaign (including but limited to proposal, contract or similar documents);  
  • Maintain good communication and team spirit (including but not limited to the cooperation, coordination, advising and training) with other sales and marketing staff in the company so that productivity as a team shall be maximized;
  • Maintain good communication with the company’s management and share the same understanding for the direction of the company.

Requirements:

  • Must have extensive Aviation industry sales experience, preferably in aircraft sales and /or aircraft leasing.  
  • Strong sales skills with proven track record of performance
  • Target driven and results orientated individual
  • Analytical skills, able to identify commercial opportunities
  • Efficient communicator who excel at building and forging good professional relationships
  • An outstanding ambassador for the company, operating at a senior level with high standard of professionalism and integrity

Travel:

  • The position requires frequent travels (50% of the role)
