Vallair is seeking an experienced Planning Manager and Technical Records Manager to work within its new stand-alone / non-AOC EASA Part M based in Luxembourg.  We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual who will help to develop our planning function and establish a robust process for project management.  The successful applicant must be well organised and well versed in the process of aircraft maintenance and the logical sequencing of maintenance tasks.  They will need to be able to clearly identify critical paths and be able to map out resolutions and timelines in order to ensure on time delivery of projects.

The candidates may be required to work at other Vallair operational centres as well as support our active asset procurement and sales programme.  Candidates that like to occasionally travel, like a challenge and are willing to use their skills and knowledge in new areas of the aviation business will be highly sought after.  We guarantee that every week will be different and you may be involved in FAA and 2-reg imports / Exports, engine and aircraft pre-purchase assessments liaising with customers to deliver aircraft and records to meet their needs.

To be considered for the role you should:

  • Have good sound Technical Planning knowledge and experience

  • Experience in liaising and communicating with internal and external agencies
  • Able to make sound decisions and an ability to work to tight deadlines in a complex and demanding environment

 The suitable candidate should hold the following knowledge and qualities:

  • Knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 & any other relevant regulations
  • Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations
  • Knowledge of organisational capabilities, privileges and limitations
  • Knowledge of relevant parts of the Part-M exposition and procedures
  • Knowledge of occurrence reporting systems (mandatory & internal) and understanding of the
  • importance of reporting occurrences, incorrect maintenance data and existing or potential defects
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems
  • Knowledge of CDCCL when relevant
  • Knowledge of EWIS when relevant
  • The successful candidate will have previous Document Control and Technical Records Experience and has worked in accordance with Part-M and basic Part-145 experience in maintenance & data/records environment.
