Our client is a well known low cost airline. They are now seeking an EASA B1 licensed Line Maintenance Engineer in the North West of England to certify A320 family work (V2500 and CFM56) on a 5 month contract.
·To undertake a B1 A320 role and supervise mechanics within the team
·To perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by Shift Supervisor
·Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and rectification of defects
·Recording and issuing of certificates of release to service
Ideal candidate’s profile:
·Must hold EASA Part 66 B1 license and be currently type rated on A320 (both CFM56 and V2500 engines)
·Proven up-to-date knowledge of relevant airworthiness and Health & Safety legislation
·Ideally a minimum of 2 years operational experience in a line maintenance environment with at least 6 months continuous on type to be acceptable.
·Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation
·Have Operational experience in a line maintenance environment
·Proven ability to communicate issues to management
·High degree of customer focus – both internal and external
·Able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, in all levels of the organisation
·Have a willingness to be flexible in order to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems and embrace change and drive improvements within the business
·Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
·Demonstrate proficiency in IT
·Flexibility required to meet deadlines
·To start in Liverpool on 11th November for a 4 month contract (please note that induction day will be held in Luton on 7th November).
·Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off, night shift between the hours of 21:00 – 07:30
·Candidate MUST already hold the right to live and work in the UK on application
