CAE Parc Aviation are now accepting applications for the role of Duty Officer based in Germany.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring smooth communication between the Technical Centre and Flight crews as per internal regulations,
  • Ensuring and handle all internal and external communication as per guidelines,
  • Preparation and/or instruction of systematical defect rectification,
  • Technical support of flight crews and maintenance personnel,
  • Coordination and circulation of data and information when experiencing technical problems as well as administration of relevant modules in MIS (AMOS),
  • Examination, evaluation and approving of deferred defects, including decisions about deferability of defect rectification and release to service and monitoring the entry into the MIS,
  • Entry of deferred defects into MIS (AMOS) if external maintenance provider doesn’t have access to the system,
  • Monitoring technical status of entire fleet, responsibility to inform all necessary departments about urgent changes,
  • Responsible for answering all questions regarding current AOG Recovery situations,
  • Organization, coordination and supervision of AOG situations to minimize the time to restoration of airworthiness,
  • Monitoring and maintaining technical delays (IR40-49) in the MIS (AMOS),
  • Managing of potential problems and risks to secure punctual operation,
  • Close cooperation with the IOCC to set priorities
  • Check and clearance of A/C changes at short notice,
  • Check of all incoming maintenance data, acceptance of respective aircraft and transfer of clearance information to flight ops as per process,
  • Ensuring the information transfer to defect control and Engineering about peculiar, recurrent defects,
  • Accomplishment of projects advised by the NPCA.

Qualifications:

  • Professional education in the field of aviation (technical) or comparable,
  • Qualification acc. EASA Part-66 AML CAT B1/B2,
  • Level III for at least one aircraft model operated by AB Group,
  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in Line Maintenance,
  • Knowledge of national aviation requirements (EASA, LBA, CAME),
  • Very good skills in MIS (AMOS), Airbus world and Confluence
  • Good skills in AIMS,
  • Fluency in German and English (Written and Spoken)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office,
  • Willingness to work shifts
