About the Role
Korr Technical Services has an urgent requirement for a Director of Flight Operations for our client based in Bahrain.
This is a 3 year (renewable) contract position based in Bahrain and the successful candidate will embrace the Nominated Post Holder position. Which will also be an active flying role.
The roles accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
•The management and control of all aspects of Flight Operations, ensuring that Aircraft operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with regulatory authority and company requirements
•Ensuring that managers and staff within the department carry out their tasks and duties in a timely, professional and disciplined manner, in accordance with established procedure
•The validation and approval of new routes and Airfields used by Company Aircraft
•Liaison and communication with the Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs, local authorities, Air Traffic Control, Airfield operators, and Airlines, and all appropriate authorities,
•Implementation of Quality Assurance throughout Flight Operations.
•Designate adequate number of supervision personnel within the Flight Operations Department
•Approval of Line Checking Captains
•Responsibility for all aspects of Operations policy and its development
•Responsibility for Operations budget
•The production, management and amendment of procedures required to ensure safe operations
•The initiation of flight safety investigations and management evaluation
•The recruitment, training and termination of all personnel employed in the flight operations department
•The attendance at various forums, including safety meetings and QA reviews
About You
Applicants must be able to meet the Minimum requirements as detailed below;
•Must hold a valid ATPL and have a minimum of 5000 total hours on B737Classic type
•Maximum age on commencement 55 years old
•B737-300 Pilots with B737-800 experience are preferred
