Digital Marketing Planner
It's your chance to negotiate our direct retail division's budget with the overall marketing budget, and underline that with your digital marketing expertise.
Along with that, you'll use your strong understanding of Digital marketing to drive the vision, objectives and plans of the Direct Retail function among multiple stakeholders.
On a full spectrum of projects, we'll look to you to make sure we're consistent and making the most of commercial opportunities through regular communication with stakeholders, wherever they're based. In turn, you'll communicate the wider business goals and plans to the retail team, so that they're in a position to take advantage of all business opportunities.
It's all about being integrated, as you'll show us when you combine plans and tactics from all retail channels and tactics. Moreover, you'll work closely with tactic managers to fully understand business objectives and what funding's required to drive it, before representing retail marketing at regional planning meetings to secure that budget and highlighting what risks could arise if it's not provided.
Of course, you'll also explore and share new technologies and innovations with the retail marketing managers, and work with the team to agree how we should trial them.
It's an ever-evolving role, and one which will mean you can draw on your background in business planning and in managing complex projects and budgets. You'll be an expert in strategic planning in a commercial environment, and you'll back that with a strong understanding of all digital marketing channels and key performance drivers. A digital marketing qualification would be great, but your interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder management skills will be key.
For a self-starter and action-oriented professional like you, it's the opportunity to take real budget accountability.
Closing date: 24th June 2012.
