The Data Controller shall be responsible for the overall control of Engineering Data and be the first point of contact for all Engineering Data related queries following appropriate Data Control procedures are created to ensure that Configuration Controlled Data is maintained and managed to meet AS9100 standards.
The Data Controller shall be responsible for creating or editing high quality, detailed product documents to continually support the Engineering and Operations functions. They shall use a variety of software tools to ensure that the governance of engineering data is upheld and to process large quantities of Data to create reports.
Data Controller required skills:
Manage drawings/document revision control and change requests ensuring compliance with configuration control procedures
Produce document control procedures/processes.
Be the primary point of contact for all data related queries
Help in producing configuration documentation
Strong data analysis skills
HND in an engineering discipline or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role preferably in the aerospace/defence field
Experience working with ERP systems and document control systems
Familiar with change control processes
An understanding of export compliance classification (desirable)
Experience in working in collaborative platforms preferable
