British Airways are looking for experienced customer service professionals to host and provide world-class service to our customers throughout their journeys
Our customer service people are usually the first people customers come into contact with as their journey begins – they are the warm welcome, the efficient processing of paperwork and procedures and the open communication between British Airways and our customers.
As a Customer Service Host you’ll have the opportunity to really define our customers’ experience of British Airways at Gatwick. You’ll need to be flexible; to understand and act on the different needs of our customers, to use your initiative, to provide a personalised service that our customers are delighted with from the baggage drop, full-service check-in, through to the lounge. You’ll need to be calm, proactive and organised – able to ensure any problems are resolved efficiently and with minimal inconvenience. Your role will build, strengthen and reinforce the relationship we have with all our customers, including executive cardholders, those travelling in premium cabins and other commercially important customers.
You’ll need to have excellent, proven customer service skills and a good understanding of British Airways values and what drives customer satisfaction. An understanding of safety and compliance within the aviation industry is also important. You should be a natural communicator, with strong verbal and written skills, especially with strong attention to detail, and a positive team focused attitude with a desire to provide the best service possible.
