CREW PLANNING OFFICER

We are looking for good candidates with 5 yrs of airline experience for Crew planning/ crew rostering,

 Job Description

Responsible for the production and updating of flight and cabin crew rosters based on available manpower as well as national/international and company policies and procedures. To be taken into consideration are: training, licenses, leave, qualifications, standby coverage, cost, fairness and consistency in allocation of duties, etc. Create multidimensional innovative solutions in order to overcome manpower constraints. Liaise with Chief Pilot and Cabin Services for individual crew requests. Liaise with OCC for all enquires and changes to flights on schedule for legality and logistical requirements as well as GenDec completion. Drop all other work and deal with scramble flights.

 

Maintain all paperwork/database associated with organising and managing of leave and days off in relation to the rostering process. Communicate with Management and Crew regarding sickness and non-availability. Liaise with Crew Training Officers to obtain information on scheduled training. Repair any training impacted roster disruption. Ensure FTL reports are updated and communicated to management and all roster relevant data is entered into systems used.

 

Responsible for communication with operational flight deck and cabin crew to ensure awareness of duties. Participate professionally in meetings in an advisory capacity to key stakeholders. Answer questions and guiding aircrew regarding training/rosters.  Reviewing and responding professionally to feedback from all stakeholders.

 

Qualification & Experience

•       High School/ College

•       Previous Airline experience

•       Ideally from VIP/Unscheduled Operator

•       Sub Part Q Flight Time Limitation knowledge

•       Crew training and licensing knowledge

•       Computer Literate ideally with industry standard scheduling software

Ability to work under pressure. THIS WILL BE A RELOCATION ROLE.
