The Crew Planning Analyst, reporting to the Ops Schedule Performance Manager, will work within the Fleet, Strategy, Ops Planning & Analysis (FSOPa) team which is integral to the Crew Supply Chain.


This is an exciting role linking the commercial and operations teams. As a result the successful candidate will be providing data and making recommendations for a variety of stakeholders.


Within the planning team the Crew Planning Analyst will validate the Commercial Schedule against the Operational Parameters using our Schedule Validator tool on behalf of the whole Operations team.


The Crew Planning Analyst will then report findings and make recommendations whilst working closely with Scheduling, Ops Control Centre (OCC), Ground Ops, Engineering and other stakeholders on any areas of the schedule that need more detailed review.


In addition the role will also support the production of crew pairings using Pairing Optimisation together with the planning of monthly and annual crew standby plans.


Role accountabilities:

Validate and report the Operational Parameters against seasonal schedule.

Validate and Identify Schedule related Operational risk within the latest seasonal schedule

Schedule Operational Parameter review & tuning

Maintain and Develop the Validation tool (NOVa)

Produce monthly and seasonal crew standby plan

Support the production of Crew Pairings for roster build & seasonal Schedules

Analytical experience; digging into the detail, extracting the data and coming up with conclusions

Accuracy and attention to detail in every task

Excellent working knowledge of excel, using cubes and using excel to extract data

Knowledge of EASA Flight Time Limitations, Fatigue Risk Management or any other national crew compliance regulation an advantage but not essential
