Our client; a well-known Scandinavian MRO are looking for an experienced Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAMO) to join their facility in Sonderborg, Denmark.

The successful Candidate will report to the CEO and will play a vital role in the development, optimisation and expansion of the CAMO services to existing and future customers. Working closely with the Maintenance Sales Team and the Danish Competent Authority, the successful individual will be responsible for the overall Continuing Airworthiness Management Department. As a member of the management team, the successful Candidate will be involved in projects across the organisation to improve the overall performance and positive development of the business. Other duties will include:

  • CAMO management of aircraft in accordance with agreed customer contracts
  • Ensure that the final product is completed to the highest standards of airworthiness acceptable to clients and civil aviation authorities
  • Perform annual staff reviews, assessments and training
  • Ensure that all regulatory responsibilities are being followed by the Continued Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME)
  • Continually updating and overall management of the Continued Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME)

As the Continuing Airworthiness Manager, the successful Candidate will need to have thorough knowledge of aircraft records, log books as well as maintenance and airworthiness data. Other requirements include:

  • Proven experience working within a CAMO environment
  • EASA Part 66 Licence
  • Previous management and/or Supervisory experience
  • A Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent would be beneficial
  • Detailed knowledge of EASA 1321/2014, EASA 216/2008 Basic Regulations and EASA 965/2012 Air Operations and ability to apply these requirements
  • Awareness of aircraft registry processes
  • Experience with turboprop and jet aircraft applications would be advantageous
  • Eligibility to work in the EU

This role is primarily based in Sonderborg, but the successful individual will be required to travel to the organisations other facility in Billund.
