Aviation Labour Group is currently seeking experienced Component Reliability Engineer for our aviation client. This role is going to be a permanent full-time position with an immediate start based in the Hong Kong China.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Monitor and analyze reliability of aircraft components using various tools and methodologies, e.g. failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) and Weibull analysis
  • Perform and review integrity of component removal data for the compilation of component reliability report
  • Compile component reliability development reports to facilitate further in-depth reliability and cost investigation/analysis
  • Evaluate effectiveness of vendor service bulletin (VSB) using both technical and commercial analysis and provide recommendations for or against implementation
  • Prepare financial justification and budget to support the implementation of different value engineering opportunities
  • Interact with all internal and external customers and vendors at all levels on technical issues related to aircraft components
  • Any other duties/tasks as assigned by the department

Requirements

To be considered for these projects, you must possess the following:

  • A recognized Degree in Engineering or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in reliability centered maintenance (RCM), component data management and aircraft engineering
  • Good understanding and application of various statistical models, e.g. Weibull, Poisson, Normal Distribution etc.
  • Sound and broad knowledge of aircraft systems
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Able to manipulate and interpret data
  • Good business acumen with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
