Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of satellite systems. Their activities cover complete civil and military telecommunications and Earth observation systems, science and navigation programmes, together with avionics and a wide range of space equipment and associated ground infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for and receive a disclosure Scotland certificate prior to commencement of the contract.

Outline Job Profile
Prepare the financial proposals for both renewal and new MOD Communications services
Support the commercial negotiations as required for renewal and new MOD communications services
Prepare business cases and support there presentation to senior management in relation to investment opportunities
Liaising and interaction with the Commercial department with respect to any commercial issues
Support the continual improvement of the pricing and approval processes within TG
Work with the Planning controller to ensure that the relevant financial approval of all vets be that paradigm, TG, ASV or CoCom level is achieved
Assist the Service Support & Planning Manager in the annual 5 year planning and quarterly forecast activities where necessary
Ad Hoc duties as requested by the CFO/Planning Controller
Qualifications and or/ skills
Strong pricing and commercial skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications
Strong excel financial modelling experience
Word & PowerPoint experience
Project and investment appraisal
Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with a wide range of customers both internal and external
Working towards or achievement of CIMA/ ACCA professional qualifications
