Air Charter Service Inc - New York are expanding their Commercial Jet department and are looking for a Trainee who can develop their knowledge and understanding of different aircraft types and the chartering business of Air Charter Service Inc.

Key Purpose

You are responsible for building up customer relations and creating a client list by targeting individual clients and companies who require passenger chartering culminating in their using the services of Air Charter Service.

• Experience within the aviation industry with either aircraft operators, ramp/apron experience or handler in a similar role 
• Communication and negotiation

• Skills and Experience

Industry Knowledge

• Ideally educated to degree level in appropriate field (aviation, business studies, language, communications, Geography)  but not essential
• Experience within the aviation industry with either aircraft operators, ramp/apron experience or handler in a similar role 
• Knowledge of the product in terms of aircraft types, availability, airports, handling agents etc

Client / Supplier Relationship Management

• Demonstrate experience in managing relationships with astute customers
• Demonstrate the ability to deal with problems or challenges in a calm and professional manner
• Demonstrate experience of procurement or negotiation in order to obtain best value for Air Charter Service and its clients

A passion for aviation is essential.  Additionally, we look for:

• Previous operations experience with large groups of passengers, experience on ramp/apron
• Must hold a driving licence
