Brief Posting Description
Reporting to the CMS Operations Manager you will undertake customer maintenance tasks within CMC or hangars as directed by supervisory team in the most efficient and effective way in accordance with the relevant Approved maintenance Data and Company procedures and observing relevant H&S procedures. Support CMC & business improvement initiatives involving CMC resources/skills.
CMC Maintenance Activity
Undertake work as directed by supervisory team, ensuring that the work is carried out in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
To be able to use AMOS / MDOC / VENDOR systems to perform the required maintenance activities.
Processes & procedures
Ensure fully conversant with relevant company processes and procedures to perform daily work requirements.
Ensure all activities are carried out IAW H&S & COSHH regulations
Will have completed indentured apprenticeship or equivalent, able to demonstrate system / aircraft structural / process / components associated tooling knowledge.
Must be able to use recognized aircraft documentation, have broad skill-set in aircraft &/or component maintenance, demonstrable hand skills involved with component / structural repairs / heat treatment or various processes involved. Skills using work shop based machinery such as Lathe / Milling machine / guillotine / linisher / band saw / bending & shrinking machine. Skills commensurate with sheet metal &/or composite repairs/fabrication, dedicated component maintenance / tooling repair skills.
Time served aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent with minimum 1 year of experience in aircraft / dedicated component or associated tooling maintenance. Experience of working with dedicated team to deliver work to defined standards / deadlines
Ability to work with dedicated team with demonstrable hand skills, good organizational & housekeeping, IT skills, good communicator, and Technical knowledge with ability to understand engineering drawings / complex instructions.
