Reporting to the CMC Operational Manager you will undertake customer maintenance tasks within CMC or hangars as directed by supervisory in the most efficient and effective way in accordance with the relevant Approved maintenance Data and Company procedures and observing relevant H&S procedures. Support CMC & business improvement initiatives involving CMC resources / skills.

Detailed Description

 CMC Maintenance Activity

Undertake work as directed by supervisory team, ensuring that the work is carried out in the most efficient and effective manner possible.

 

IT

To be able to use AMOS / MDOC / VENDOR systems to perform the required maintenance activities.

 

Processes & procedures

 

Ensure fully conversant with relevant company processes and procedures to perform daily work requirements

H & S

Ensure all activities are carried out IAW H&S & COSHH regulations

Requirements:-

Knowledge:

 

Will have completed recognized training specific to painting, able to demonstrate aircraft / recognize components & associated materials / aware of process information specific to paints & their uses, health & safety & product specific knowledge, associated tooling knowledge. Able to recognize common defects with aircraft composites / paint schemes.

Skills: 

Able to recognized aircraft documentation, have broad skill-set in aircraft painting, demonstrable skills involved with painting aircraft. Skilled with tooling required for all forms of aircraft painting, able to transfer health & safety regulations to working practices

Experience/Education:

Time served painting apprenticeship / recognized training or equivalent with minimum 2-3 years of experience. Aviation painting experience with refurbishment or maintenance environment.

Competencies:

Ability to work with dedicated team with demonstrable skills, good organizational & housekeeping, IT skills, good communicator, and ability to understand technical literature associated with product mix / application / safety instructions.
