A key position has become available for an experienced and passionate Flight Training Professional. The Head of Flight Training is responsible for management of the Flight Training Team and all flight training programs and ensures the quality of flight training programs is maintained.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the programs being managed are operated in compliance with all appropriate regulatory agencies and mandated directives.
  • Provide project direction, set priorities and monitor staff achievement
  • Accountable for the security of materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of products
  • Prioritize workflow on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Continuously coaches and develops the Flight Training team

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a similar Head of Flight Training position as an AOC postholder in an operations environment with extensive TRE/TRI experience
  • Strong experience managing training teams
  • Excellent knowledge of training scheduling and training programmes
  • Fully conversant with EASA regulations
  • Hold EASA ATPL(A) with Class 1 medical
  • Have an understanding of IOSA auditing standard and processes
  • Have good commercial awareness and general business acumen
  • Good understanding of compliance
  • Experience with large commercial aircraft
  • Confident, driven and dynamic
  • Current knowledge of recent and upcoming changes in regulatory affairs
  • Ability to plan, prioritizes, and completes work efficiently and cost effectively
  • Coaches, counsels, mentors and trains employees to enhance performance. Encourages high standards and level of achievement. Actively participates in self-development activities.
