Our Client serves clients across the globe, in all aspects of aircraft charter, leasing, and interiors. They are looking for a Charter Account Manager based in the Surrey office. This is a very rare opportunity and the successful candidate will be taking a great stride in their professional development.
Purpose of the Job:
·The role of a Charter Account Manager involves being responsible for attaining and maintaining high earning, retention and growth of key accounts, whilst providing support at all levels for all broking team members when necessary
·To proactively achieving business development objectives.
·To enthusiastically source solutions to flight enquiries and actively manage fixtures.
·To develop your knowledge of the aviation industry and commercial awareness.
·To maintain and grow the company bespoke ERP system.
·To market the company services to existing and new prospect customers by telephone and e-marketing to develop new areas of business.
·To produce accurate contracts and paperwork applicable to your work and support the rest of your team when required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·Acting as lead broker on ad-hoc charter enquiries, maintaining high levels of broking activity to find the best solution to meet client’s needs.
·Marketing and business development to existing and new prospect customers including telephone and e-marketing.
·Brokering new enquiries received and managing client and new prospect relationships.
·Negotiate and maximise potential margins on all enquiries.
·Anticipating and out manoeuvring rivals in competitive tenders
·Delivering a consistent first class customer service experience is delivered to all customers.
·Taking responsibility for promoting inter-office and department communications
·Responsibility for creating charter division e-marketing and website content updates.
·Assist with the management of existing charter contracts, including:
·Monitoring flights and calling airline operations to check flight departures.
·Completing the flight watch system
·Assisting with ad hoc reports and analysis.
·Responsible for the day to day data management of our bespoke Customer Relationship Management database. This will include contacting companies and updating contacts and accounts in the system to ensure our marketing reaches the right people.
·Brokering charter enquiries out of office hours as part of the duty team.
·To be part of the duty rota system we operate, maintaining a 24hr a day service, 7 days a week. Responsibilities on duty are twofold:
·Answering incoming calls, reacting and actively pursuing business opportunities.
·Monitoring current operations to make sure they are running smoothly and maintaining our position as the intermediary.
·Creating contracts and documents from our standard templates.
•Work towards agreed, measurable performance targets and standards.
•Represent the company in a highly professional and competent manner and exercising a reasonable commercial judgement
·Always delivering a first class customer service.
•Maintain strict company and client confidentiality at all times.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
•3+ years charter broking or relevant travel industry experience
·Excellent understanding of current markets both in operators and clients
·Highly target driven individual, motivated to ‘Win’ business
·Excellent time management skills to ensure rigorous contract and project deadlines are met
·Customer focused with first rate people skills
·Good written and communication skills
·Excellent IT skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, XL and Outlook and the ability to learn and develop the functionality of a new system
·Able to prioritise work
·Have a flexible approach working in a team environment
·Precise and accurate data entry, with an attention to detail
·A motivated and proactive approach to work
