Services, removes, repairs, replaces, modifies and installs functional components, mechanical and electro-mechanical systems in accordance with Maintenance Manuals and Test Procedures to ensure airworthiness. The systems include, oxygen, pneumatic, hydraulic, environmental, egress and fuel systems. Performs rigging of control surfaces and services aircraft. Follows and interprets engineering drawings, military specifications, standards, safety directives and Maintenance Manuals to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Documents work performed in aircraft forms, records and Contract Field Team workbooks.Working Conditions: May be required to work in areas that are noisy, dusty, and dirty. Work may be performed on top or under equipment in cramped or awkward positions. May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers. Will be required to comply with safety requirements of the Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
