As a cargo operational performance reporting Specialist you will be in charge of the on-going business performance monitoring, reporting, analysis and insights for QAS cargo operations.
You will provide analysis to drive continuous improvement and ad hoc responses for specific decision making issues For e.g. Forecast and volumes trends, peak and trough analysis, capacity/capability analysis, Financial KPIs, Operational KPIs etc. You will constantly be engaged in developing, managing and enhancing MIS for cargo operations.
Key Accountabilities :
Develop and manage Cargo MIS (Management Information System) covering all relevant KPIs for QAS Cargo.
Accountable for development of performance metrics, reporting and improvement targets for all strategic business units.
Advise and guide each business unit to support collaborative working approaches to achieve optimum service levels and KPIs.
Deliver daily/weekly/monthly performance reports/dashboards for management.
Deliver set of required standard reports for Cargo Management to facilitate operational reviews.
Identify, monitor and resolve any service quality shortfalls or adverse KPI trends across organisation. This will involve close collaboration with our Quality & Compliance team.
Support operational departments in executing corrective actions. Analyse and measure effectiveness.
Increases standardization of Cargo ground handling work processes and system flows.
Drives culture change to instil focus on fact-based management practices, the use of Six Sigma and other problem solving methodologies.
Provide Support for the annual budgeting process.
Support in project execution and supports projects teams in process quality activities.
You must be a university graduate with a minimum 5, you should have Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow as well as strong mentoring and coaching skills.
You should have the ability to train and develop subordinate's skills and foster teamwork among team members as well as high level of computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office programs, strong analytical skills with keen eye to detail, Interpersonal expertise working in a multicultural workforce and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Lean six sigma training, Commercial and Management Training as well as Knowledge of Cargo Handling Procedures and Regulations would be preferred
