Resource Group’s Flight Crew Services division (Contractair Ltd) is pleased to announce a B777 Captain pilot recruitment campaign on behalf of our client; Ethiopian Airlines.
Ethiopian Airlines is based from Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa. The airline currently serves a network of 81 International destinations, flying to more destinations in Africa than any other carrier.
Operating the newest and youngest fleet in Africa, the airline’s current fleet comprises B777, B787, B767/757, B737NG, Q400, with existing orders for A350, B777, B787, B737NG and Q400.

Operator: Ethiopian Airlines
Position: B777 Captain
Base of Operation: Africa
License Requirements: Valid FAA/EASA/ICAO Licence and First Class Medical
Commencement Date: Recruiting Now
Contract Duration: Three years (renewed annually)
Salary: Competitive salary plus per diems
Overtime: Paid at 1/80th per month
Travel: Captain Pilot will receive travel benefits on the network
Working Rotations: 20 days on, 10 days off
Accommodation & Transportation: Hotac will be provided by the airline first 30 days. Thereafter a monthly allowance will be provided. Single room hotel accommodation will be provided for the night stops outside home base.
Other Benefits: Bonus 10% of cumulative six monthly salary for a Captain who has successfully serviced Ethiopian for six full months after employment. One month salary as bonus after three years’ service and thereafter every year.

Annual Leave: 14 days paid leave per annum
Candidate Experience: A B777 Captain Pilot with a minimum of 500 hours PIC on type with at least 2500 PIC hours on jet aircraft and 3500 hours total time, current within last 12 months.
Age Restriction: Maximum 60
Screening Process: Captain B777 pilot interview and simulator sessions on a weekly basis and will undergo a Medical check
