Salary: Competitive rate offered.

Job type: Permanent

Sector: Aircraft, Airport, Flight Crew
Job Role: Cabin Crew Jobs, Ex Cabin Crew Jobs, Multilingual Cabin Crew Jobs, Senior Cabin Crew Jobs, VVIP Cabin Crew Jobs

Airtask Group Ltd are currently seeking to recruit an exceptional Full-Time Cabin Crew Member based at Cranfield, Bedfordshire.

The role is not a standard Cabin Crew position. As part of a small team of two full time and one part time Cabin Crew, you will work in a single crew environment on the Natural Environment Research Councils (NERC) BAe146, Atmospheric Research Aircraft (ARA) which undertakes world leading research in conjunction with Scientists and other Specialists.

You will be based at the Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurement (FAAM) building, within the Cranfield University Airport campus in Bedfordshire.

The position will involve periods of local flying from Cranfield as well as overseas travel with the potential to spend a significant time away from home base when the aircraft is deployed on research duties. There can be periods of non-flying too, when the aircraft is being reconfigured or maintained.

As the aircraft is utilised in weather/atmospheric research, the potential candidate must be prepared to operate, sometimes in turbulent conditions at bank angles higher than in normal Commercial Air Transport operations and at low level.

It is essential that prospective candidates have the following qualifications and experience:

  • At least 2 years previous Cabin Crew experience, qualified to SCCM with Attestation

  • Demonstrable experience as single Cabin Crew member (with more than 19 passengers)

  • Hold a current CAA Cabin Crew medical report

  • Ability to swim 50 metres without a life jacket

  • Reside within a 45 minute travelling time of Cranfield

  • Training experience or qualifications, or the desire and ability to become a trainer.

  • Prepared to operate in conditions sometimes differing from those found in normal Commercial Air Transport

  • A ‘can do’ attitude, coupled with demonstrable experience of going the extra mile

  • The right to live and work in the UK

  • Holder of an EU passport with unrestricted world-wide travel

The ideal candidates will possess excellent inter-personal skills and be team orientated with a strong work ethic.

A competitive rate will be offered.

If you meet with the criteria above and are seeking a new challenge, please apply with your CV and current salary details/expectations.
