Morson has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent person to join the team on site at RNAS Culdrose for a Boundary Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Purpose:

To be the Culdrose Warehouse Boundary Supervisor, primarily carrying out the custodian checks for all items held in the Warehouses. Resolving Equipment Sentencing Cell data integrity issues and assisting the Culdrose Boundary Cell on an adhoc basis when requested by the Boundary Cell Manager through the Culdrose Logistics Manager. To be part of an effective team working closely with all Warehouse staff in carrying out additional duties required to meet the contractual requirements of the Culdrose Logistics Facility. In addition, operate within Client and MoD Health and safety requirements.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

Primary Purpose

  • Carry out the custodian checks on all items held in the Warehouses.
  • Resolve Equipment Sentencing Cell data integrity issues which are preventing an item being sent R2 or R4 iaw the Demand Plans.

Secondary Purpose

  • Provide assistance to the Culdrose Boundary Cell on the creation and updating of records for GOLDesp assets.
  • Understand how to identify the modification standard of a component and completion of MOD Form 700, GOLDesp, Log Cards and Weight and Moment etc.
  • Run and analyse QA, Structure and Task Schedule Reports.
  • Create Lifed and Non Lifed items (J), (D) and (E) including relevant sanctions.
  • Carry out Life history checks using archive servers.
  • Understand what GOLDesp reports are routinely required.
  • Process and generate CUTMP items.
  • Process and generate CULOC numbers.
  • Understand the process for checking default task schedules.
  • Understand the process for changing life item usage.
  • Amend task schedules.
  • Understand procedures in the event of a GOLDesp system failure.
  • Raise F765, 109C as required.

Undertake any other duties as directed by the Clients Management

Skills and experience

  • Served a recognised engineering apprenticeship or having gained relevant experience in an aviation environment. Experience of conditioning technical equipment, preferably in the defence industry or within the armed services.
  • IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office application
  • Knowledge of MOD Engineering Information Systems and associated documentation.
  • Understand the requirements applicable to conditioning technical equipment in the MOD environment.
  • Working knowledge of MOD supply system.
  • Experience of Packaging - if necessary training will be given.
  • Good level GCEs/GCSEs in Mathematics and English.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work unsupervised, to demanding deadlines.
  • An understanding of Health and Safety and MOD regulations as applied to conditioning and storing goods is required.
