General Description

Excel Technical Consulting is delighted to be able to offer this new opportunity working within an operation supporting the MoD in training fixed wing and rotary pilots of the future.  

The role full time, UK based with a very attractive salary and reward package including additional training where necessary!!!!

The successful candidates will be expected to provide line and base maintenance to a variety of aircraft used for training under both EASA and MAA regulations, focusing on avionic and electrical scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting

Essential Requirements:

To be considered you must hold and EASA Part 66 B2 license, ideally with type ratings but this is not essential.
You must have either Military or Civilian maintenance experience, although both would be an advantage it is not essential, however a recognised apprenticeship is required here.  
A full UK driving license is required, and you will also be required to achieve MoD SC

You need to be able to demonstrate previous maintenance experience with all of the following equipment:
VHF/UHF communications & audio systems
ILS/VOR/DME systems
Compass compensation  
Pitot/Static systems

Desirable Attributes:

Experience of FLARM & TCAS systems
Experience of Glass cockpit systems
Type ratings or experience on Texan T6 and Beechcraft B200
Previous experience of working directly with customers and stakeholders as well as supervising maintenance staff

This is a unique opportunity to join a brand new operation from the very beginning and give your input into best practice and the most efficient processes and procedures for maintenance, as well as developing your own training and qualifications.  

25 days + Public holiday holidays

Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri 40 hrs per week
