Avionic Design Engineer

In this role you'll be doing the following:

  • The compilation of substantiation documentation in order to demonstrate compliance with relevant electrical and avionic related airworthiness requirements.
  • Compilation of design documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness.
  • Liaising with Compliance Verification Engineers in support of the showing of compliance for the applicable airworthiness and environmental protection requirements.
  • Project management of design changes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Knowledge in the testing, trouble-shooting and defect rectification of avionic systems.
  • Sound knowledge in the embodiment of avionic modifications programs.
  • Proven ability to solve problems with sound judgment.
  • High level of personal integrity ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and multi-task.
  • Excellent computer skills.

Education/Experience:

  • EASA Part 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License or equivalent and/or Technical Degree (B.Eng, B.Sc).
