JOB DESCRIPTION: we are currently searching for experienced Pneumatic and Electro Mechanical Valve Technicians with an A&P license. The technicians maintain or repair pneumatics/hydraulics and electro mechanical aviation components to required specification. They will also perform inspections during assembly of part and after repair or installation of component. In addition, they will be responsible for documenting maintenance procedures to include; component damage, component origin, and condition of component, components or equipment. Finally, all employees must be committed to practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:1. Must have 3+ years of specific experience, ideally in MRO, OEM Component Maintenance or Military environments, in which you were working specifically in component maintenance and/or component overhaul; experience disassembling, inspecting, testing, and assembling of aircraft components.2. Would ideally like candidates to have an FAA A&P license in order to know the applicable regulations and customer requirements associated with an FAA repair station. However, candidates without an A&P license will also be considered, but will need to have 3-5+ years of specific component maintenance and/or component overhaul experience working in an MRO, OEM Component Maintenance or Military environment.3. Must have a strong technical aptitude for electrical and mechanical work; for example, candidates should know how hydraulic and pneumatic unit(s) operate as well as have the ability to read and interpret technical manuals as they relate to aircraft components.4. Must have own set of basic hand tools (i.e. ratchets, sockets, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.).5. Ability to lift 40lbs.6. Ability to successfully complete the Pre-Employment Requirements; including, but not limited to an FAA DOT Drug Screen and 7 Year Criminal BG Check.ASSIGNMENT DURATION: Contract assignment for a minimum of 3 6 monthsSHIFT: 1st shift; which is 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. In addition, OT is available, but voluntary; individuals will typically be able to work up to 16 hours of OT each week.PAY RATE INFO: individual pay rates will be commensurate with total years of applicable experience, FAA licensure, overall technical skills & ability, interview feedback, etc.PER DIEM: Yes, applicable daily per diem rates may be offered for all non-local candidates whom qualify under the current governmental regulations.
