PNG Air operates throughout Papua New Guinea, with its new fleet of ATR 72-600 series aircraft and a workforce of over 700 is now one of the largest airline operators in this region with extensive operations in the domestic network. The airline is also expanding rapidly to cater for the phenomenal growth in the Papua New Guinea economy.
An opportunity has arisen for an ATR 72-600 B2 licensed engineer to join the Company’s Part 145 Maintenance Organisation. You will be based at our maintenance facility at Jacksons Airport at 7 Mile.
As a PNG Air LAME you will be focused on performing line maintenance support to the introduction of the ATR72-600 fleet.
For your application to be competitive, in addition to being licensed on the ATR72-600, you will have strong, mature leadership qualities with a desire to excel in a growing business environment that offers future career progression. Safety will be your number 1 focus. Furthermore, you will have strong attention to detail, highly motivated, a good work ethic and positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Being licenced on the DHC8 classic series will be looked upon favourably.
This position is based at the Company’s headquarters in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
