The courses will be delivered by AeCAT, which is an EASA Part 147 approved maintenance training organisation based in the United Kingdom. The courses are approved by the CAA on behalf of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). 

Approval/Content

The courses comply with the latest EASA Part 66 regulations and provide detailed description, operation, component location, removal/installation, BITE and troubleshooting procedures.

Applicability

The courses are open to all candidates involved directly with aircraft maintenance, currently holding B1, B2 or C licence, or have demonstrated the ability /desire to obtain type qualification on the aircraft.

Prerequisites

Ideally EASA Part 66 basic Aircraft Maintenance Licence or equivalent.
Minimum - General familiarity with aircraft and digital electronic equipment.
The Student must be able to read, write and communicate at an understandable level in the English language.

Examination Format

Theory - Multiple Choice exams with a pass mark of 75%

Practical - Formal assessment of a practical task.
