Role: AOG Support Executive

Salary: £18,000- £22,000 + £5,000 Shift bonus

Shift: 12 hour days, Shift 2 days on 2 nights on 4 days off


A vacancy has arisen in the AOG Team for an AOG Support Executive. My client is a global provider of aircraft component services. They now require an AOG Support Executive on a permanent basis.

Main activities:
Responsible for providing airline operation and customer support on a 24 hour, 365 days of the year basis, this role requires the ability to deliver exceptionally high quality customer service at all times and rapid response to all customer aircraft AOG and priority requirements.

The successful candidate must be customer focused and should have a back ground in aviation and/or rotable trading with an understanding of aircraft spares and AOG requirements.

A good communicator and negotiator with problem solving abilities, applicants must be flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handle all customer out of hours requirements.
  • Respond to customer AOG and priority requirements in appropriate time frames.
  • Deliver high quality customer service at all times.
  • Manage customer accounts and contracts, including specific requirements.
  • Trade inventory by means of exchange, loan and sale.
  • Purchase items for customer requirements and brokered transactions.
  • Negotiate with customer and suppliers when needed.
  • Maximise all sales opportunities to ensure the highest revenues are achieved.
  • Assist the Stock/AOG Sales Manager and Director with all tasks as required.
  • Understand and adhere to Export Control regulations where relevant

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Preferred background in aviation or rotable trading.
  • Preferred comprehensive understanding of aircraft spares and airline AOG requirements.
  • Preferred previous experience working with customer in a 24 hour service environment.
  • Ability to plan coordinate and delegate work.
  • Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organisation and administration skills
  • Experience using Quantum.
