Reporting to the Station Engineer, the AMOS Data Controller is responsible for the documentation of Engineering maintenance records in the AMOS system in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority and Jet2.com requirements. Working with aircraft flight logs, maintenance records as well as component tags, this job ensures the accuracy of all data, assisting with its use in improving the performance and reliability of the Jet2.com fleet.
The AMOS Data Controller will collect daily Flight Log and Technical Log data, inputting the information into the IT System whilst ensuring it's accuracy and compliance with Jet2.com standards. The collation and entry of data carried out in a timely manner is key to the success of this role, enabling the company to have up to date information for the tracking of aircraft availability and the planning of future maintenance. You will support the Station Engineer and Crew Chief in the agglomeration of Scheduled Maintenance Documentation for work packages and the efficient completion of tasks. After a period of training it is expected that the AMOS Data Controller will work a 4 on 4 off, permanent days shift pattern.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills with a keen eye for detail and the aptitude to work in a logical manner. You will have experience working in a similar position and ideally have a good understanding of the aviation market. In addition, the AMOS Data Controller will be highly numerate and an effective communicator whilst working in a dynamic Aviation-Maintenance environment.
