We are seeking an onsite Technical Representative on a 12 month full time contract, to act as a liaison between our airline client and their 3rd party maintenance providers in Europe.  There may be the opportunity to extend the contract or become a permanent member of staff at the end of this period.

You are likely to be based in various different locations in Europe throughout this period and therefore should be happy to travel frequently.  There will be no work base in the UK. Accommodation and transport will be booked and paid for on your behalf.

This is a great opportunity to make your own mark on this role – it offers you freedom to work in the way that you see best to get the job done.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work across Europe monitoring each station’s performance against contracted SLAs and when appropriate, initiate action to restore performance delivery as agreed.
  • Utilise their great ‘people skills’ to foster effective partnerships to benefit both the airline and maintenance providers.
  • Have a proven supervisory background in both Base and Line maintenance, and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of maintenance practices on the A320 family.
  • Be able to demonstrate contract management experience.
  • Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Possess good IT skills including Microsoft Office. A working knowledge of AMOS would be beneficial but not essential.

A second European language in addition to English would be beneficial, e.g. French or Italian.

This role will start as soon as possible so if you are interested, please apply immediately.

Please note all applicants must be able to prove their right to live and work in the UK on application.

Due to the number of applications we receive, it’s not always possible to contact unsuccessful applicants. Unless you hear from us within 14 days of your application, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
