Aircraft Mover Flight Line - Signature Flight Support, Luton
 
An opportunity has arisen for an Aircraft Mover Flight Line at Signature Flight Support London Luton Airport.
 
Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Manoeuvre aircraft up to A310/B767.
  • Schedule hangar tows and pushbacks when required.
  • Use headsets to effectively communicate with team.
  • The use of GSE equipment once appropriately trained. 
  • Carry out marshalling duties, once appropriately trained.
  • Carry out adhoc ramp services as required (this will include services such as marshalling, towing, pushback, headset, toilet, water, fuel, baggage on load/offload, GPU, steps), as directed by the customer and supervisor when appropriately trained.
  • To ensure Health and Safety is maintained and respected at all times including internal policy and a Target Zero Approach to incidents and accidents.
  • Assist crew / passengers / third parties (e.g. engineers) whenever necessary.
  • Liaise with third party suppliers and the airport operations team wherever necessary.
  • Carry out equipment inspections on a shift basis as directed by the Senior Supervisor Flight Line. Ensure any defects are logged and reported accordingly to the Supervisor.
Role Requirements:
  • Adherence to safety procedures and airport protocol at all times.
  • VIP customer service understanding and skills.
  • Helpful, flexible with a willing attitude towards work and colleagues.
  • GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Discretion at all times.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous FBO experience preferred but not essential.
  • Must have a checkable five-year employment history.
  • Full driving licence, original copy must be presented every 6 months.
  • Applicants will be required to attend an airside driving course to enable them to perform their duties airside
  • Successful applicants must be prepared to follow strict processes and procedures in the performance of their duties.
  • Ability to communicate credibly to the team and management.
