Line Station Mechanic (Stansted)

Stansted
Work Pattern- 7 days on/off

£27938 + £6415 shift premium + £580 stores stamp

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of Europe's leading cargo airlines. The role involves supporting the B767 Licensed Engineer at the Stansted Line station. Ensuring all work is carried out to the required standards and in line with all SOP's/ Regulations.
The role will also include the management of all 767 spare parts at the STN Line station.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
* Preferably hold current EWIS, FTS and HF certificates but not essential.
* Have the ability to make good judgements based on the needs of the company operation, in a fast changing environment.
* Have a minimum of 3 years Aviation Engineering experience.
* Possess good verbal and written English.
* Be a highly motivated individual capable of working well as part of a team.
* Be used to working with computers and mobile phones.
* Have proven problem solving, planning and organisational skills.
* Have a flexible attitude to work, be trustworthy and committed.

Duties:
* Responsible to the LMM when working in the Line maintenance organisation.
* Some travel within the UK and Europe is required from time to time.
* Maintain good engineering practices in all work carried out.
* Ensure all parts and materials fitted to an aircraft or aircraft component are accompanied by the correct serviceable tags to confirm traceability, and respective batch numbers are entered on job cards or worksheets
* Perform all maintenance work according to the correct procedures
* Keep current with procedures and requirements
* Ensure all spare parts required by the line station are ordered and available as per schedule requests
* Manage and liaise with Supply Chain on any discrepancies of issues with regards to spares

Academic Requirements:
* All modules done to secure an EASA Part 66 license.
