TAA Recruitment are currently looking for Aircraft Mechanics to join our client  on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to become a part of what is already the biggest network of its kind in the world.

Responsibilities are as follows:

Carry out scheduled / Unscheduled Maintenance on our client’s fleet and other customer Aircraft from time to time up to 5700kg.

Carry out defect rectification and fault finding, small repairs.

Other duties as and when directed which may include, aircraft towing, Aircraft de-icing, Aircraft cleaning, general maintenance and up keep of the hangar and ground equipment.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Extensive experience working within General Aviation environment and knowledge of Part M and working within a Part M or Part 145 organisations.

Experience of working in a general aviation environment, with a good working knowledge of piston engine Aircraft 5700kg and below. (Currency required).

Working with maintenance programs and LAMP Schedules, MIPS, able to extract manufacturer’s data, ability to read drawings and Diagrams,

Time served apprenticeship of at least 4 years in Aviation Aircraft Maintenance, relevant qualifications from apprenticeship a requirement.

Computer literacy, familiarisation with most operating systems used in Aircraft maintenance, not essential but preferable.

Demonstrates ability to fault find in all disciplines, work through solutions to meet timely deadlines.

Shows a willingness to learn, listen and be flexible in their approach to work

 Demonstrate commitment to manage a given workload within fixed deadlines, working to tight deadlines to ensure serviceability of the fleet, and delivery of Customers Aircraft.

Essential experience working with piston engine general aviation aircraft, with the Piper PA34 series and Cessna single engine series an advantage

Show competence in being able to work with agility, able to work on their own and in a small team environment.

Able to commit to working shift patterns over a 7-day working period if required to support the business, late and early shifts with weekend coverage if the business requires.
