Excel Technical Consulting have a new and interesting role for Air Traffic Management Professionals to join a industry leader on a permanent basis, based in the UK.

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Safety Engineer to lead on Air Traffic Management Safety engineering projects, dealing directly with the clients customers as well as being a key manager within the team.  The work will be focusing on the challenges caused by the increase in civilian air traffic, for both civilian and military customers.

Some of the key responsibilities involved are:

  • Development and growth of business with existing clients
  • ATM Safety consultancy to military and civilian clients
  • Establishment of new clients, and building of business relationships with them
  • Working with other experts across the company to respond to client requests

In general, this is a safety consulting/engineering role that requires experience of applying that discipline to ATM and to several areas across the company, internally and externally.  As such, we are looking for a safety engineer who has worked in Air Traffic Management at a senior level, in either military or civilian based roles (or both).

You will have a broad knowledge of ATM technologies, ground and aircraft based, covering the following areas (essential):

  • Surveillance - Primary and Secondary Radar.

For the right person, salary will be circa £60,000 per year, with a solid benefits package including various medical and insurance plans that can be joined at discounted rates, as well as subsidised schemes.
