DESCRIPTION: A&P mechanics responsible for providing heavy maintenance (C/D Checks) on CRJ series aircraft working at our Commercial Aircraft Service Center in Macon, GA.QUALIFICATIONS / MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:1. Airframe and Powerplant A&P License2. 3 or more years of aircraft heavy maintenance (i.e. C & D Checks) experience on commercial, corporate or regional aircraft; specific CRJ aircraft series experience is preferred, but not an absolute requirement. 3. Must be willing to work any shift as well as work OT as required by workload.4. Tools Required; must have own set of basic hand tools.5. Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings; as well as effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.6. Must be able to pass the associated DOT DT and client specific 10 year Criminal BG Check prior to starting work.PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.2. Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.3. Assist with aircraft component repair and perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations.4. Operate ground support equipment and perform other duties as assigned.5. Assist with engine removal / installation.6. Assist with other maintenance discipline(s) as well as with fuel and/or de-fuel of aircraft.7. May assist with maintenance at off-site locations.
